On Wednesday 17 April, the Ambassador of Greece in Rome, Mrs. Eleni Souranis, inaugurated the exhibition entitled “Greek Heads” by the distinguished sculptor Georgios Petridis. The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of Greece in Rome and the Hellenic Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies of Venice, in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of Greece in Venice, the Greek Orthodox Community of Venice, and with the support of the Orthodox Metropolis of Italy. The exhibition takes place in the courtyard (Campo dei Greci) of the Holy Church of St. George of the Greeks. The event was attended by the Greek Deputy Minister of Research and Technology Mr. Christos Dimas , the Deputy Minister of Culture of Cyprus Mrs. Vasiliki Kassianidou, the Ambassador of Cyprus in Rome Mr. George Christofides, the Honorary Consul of Cyprus in Venice Mr. Mr. Andrea Falconi, the Honorary Consul of Greece in Venice Mr. Bruno Bernardi, the President of the Hellenic Institute Mr. Vasilios Koukousas, the First Bishop of the Holy Metropolis of Italy Fr.
