Visit of the Vice-Regional Head of Culture of the Region of Attica Mr…Charis Roma at the Hellenic Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies in Venice.

On Wednesday 18 May, the Vice-Regional Head of Culture of the Region of Attica, Mr.. The Vice-Regional Governor met with the President of the Hellenic Institute, visited the temple and the museum of icons and was informed about its activities. The possibilities for scientific cooperation between the two institutions were also discussed.

Mr. Romas said he was very satisfied with his visit and the information he had received, which he noted in the Book of Visitors of the Institute which he signed. He stressed the multidimensional role and the important contribution of the Institute in the research on the Greek culture of the Byzantine and post-Byzantine period and stated that he would prepare a proposal for cooperation between the Region of Attica and the Hellenic Institute.
